Student Code of Conduct
 
the immediate object of this student code of conduct is to maintain an effective learning environment for every member of the ecorse public school system. the ultimate objective of this student code of conduct is to facilitate the positive  development of each student abilities, attitudes and habits essential to acceptable and self controlled behavior necessary for successful abjustment to our society.
 
Along the journey from childhood to adulthood, it is important for our student to learn to respect rules and regulations of conduct in the school community. ecorse pubilc schools in conjuctions with the community at large and your peers have crafted this student code of conduct based on needs of all parties. violations of scool rules and regulations that are harmful to the right and privileges of others cannot be tolerated.
 
Each student of the ecorse public shool is valued. As such the discipline policy of the ecorse public schools is based on principles of fairness. whem it is necessary to use to use corrective mearsure and to the extent possible such measures are based on a balance between an understanding of each student and on sound guidance pracdice.
 
A person who has special needs shall not solely by reason of being special needs be excluded from the parrticipation in or denied the protection of the protection of the ecorse public student code of conduct.
 
1.  When stuudent are traveling to and from school or a school sponsored activity including bus transportation and other school related vehicles
 
2. When students are in or on property of the school district
 
3.  When student are at any school sponsored activity regardless of its location
 
4. Regardles of lacations where the result of a student conduct would create substantial risk of disruption to the educational procss or an orderly school environment.
 
5. When student are using school technology telecommmunication network accounts or other services.
 
It is the responsibility of all school community members to become familiar with this student code of conduct. as a student membe of the ecorse public school system you will be required to follow the rules and regulations contained herein.
