purpose
 
 
this policy is intended to promote school safety self-discipline responsibility and good grooming habit; to enhance the learning environment by helping students concentrate on their school work; and to ensure that students are safety and appropriately dressed for school activities. this policy is not intended to prohibit the students rights to express themselves, nor to violate any anti-discriminatory laws.
 
policy
while in school, students shall wear clothing that meets the following standards:
 
no hats, bandanas, do-rags or scarves
 
no bare backs shall be exposed
 
no low cuts shirts/blouses that expose cleavage
 
no bare midriffs must be able to tuck in shirts or blouses
 
no bare feet or unsafe footwear
 
no clothing that uses see through matrial
 
no cloting that displays words in whatever language,graphics that are obscene, improper,vulgar,vioent,sexist,racist,and/or pormote the use of illegal drugs/alcohol/tobacco
 
no gang, violent.or cult- related appel
 
no daoopy/baggy pants pants or clothing that reveals undergarments
 
no writing on pqnts larger then two 2 inches
 
the length of shorts and skirts must be longer than the tip of the students fingers when his/ her extened arem is by his/her side
 
students shoes with laces must be laced and tied at all times
 
all students are required to wear their ids at all during regular school hours
 
discipline
the school leader shall have the discretion to render judgmentss regarding what is and what is not a violation of this plicy, or if necessary waive these policy restrictions in religious, politiccal and /or medical situations. students who violate this policy may face discipline up to and including expulsion.
